Spencer Suderman Attempts to Break Guinness Book Record

Drift Innovation HD170 Stealth to capture Inverted Flat Spin Record set by aerobatic pilot, Spencer Suderman.

Boyne City, Mich., (March 1, 2011) – MyPOV360.com, an online retailer of the hottest wearable action cameras and accessories on the market, teams up with Spencer Suderman for his planned attempt to break the current Guinness World Record of 78 turn spins in one flying session. The historical attempt is set for March 10 at the El Centro Naval Air Facility, two days before Air Facility’s Annual Air Show on March 12.

MyPOV360.com provided Suderman with the recently launched Drift HD170 Stealth, to capture his recording-breaking attempt. The new and easy-to-use Stealth features everything a video-enthusiast is looking for: high definition video quality, LCD screen, wireless remote control, 170 rotating lens, and slow motion technology with 60 frames per second.

During Suderman’s test flights, in preparation to break the record, he used the new Stealth unit to film him and the aircraft’s canopy in order for the judges to review the number of spins after he lands.

Suderman, a natural at aviation aerobatics, dazzles the skies at air shows across the country, all year long. He is also a race pilot and one of the founders of the Aerobatic Racing Challenge Series(ARCS). Drift Innovation Cameras has been Suderman’s choice for point of view cameras since his partnership with MyPOV360.com began in Sept. 2010.

“Aerobatic flying is a privilege that I am lucky to enjoy,” said Suderman. “Not everyone can be in the cockpit with me but the Drift HD170 cameras allow me to share the experience with the world in a way that has never before been possible.”
