This camera was a perfect choice for Tom to capture the action from his unique point of view.  He went where no normal cameraman would dare go.  This footage has a “pucker” factor of 10!

SKI BACKWARD TV #5 Drift HD170 Showcase

Ski Backward TVSKI BACKWARD TV started the show with another segment at Woodward at Copper where Rockwell was working on his double flips. Then we moved over to the Terrain Park where we did some follow cam with the Drift HD170 Stealth helmet cam.

Drift Innovation, manufacturers of the HD170 Stealth helmet camera, and Nick Nixon Productions hit the slopes in unison to bring Ski Backward TV (SBTV) the ultimate pipe and park scene in Colorado. The eight-episode TV series will be featuring point of view footage captured by the talented riders wearing the Drift HD170.

The SBTV episodes are scheduled to air on Saturday nights for the remainder of the 2010-11 season on TV Vail 8 and TV8 Summit County. The series is produced and directed by former professional ski racer, Nick Nixon, who over the years has developed a name for his film aptitude. His dedication, ingenuity and experience in both the athlete and video production field, convey passion and excitement in all his productions.
