Off-Road Racing Video by Koenig Racing

Koenig Racing is a formidable competitor in off-road racing. The team finished 2010 with a Vorra Class T Championship and were second overall in the 2010 race series.

This fun video clip was put together by the boys at Koenig Racing. It starts with the Drift HD170 Stealth falling off the vehicle, then being run over when they go back looking for it. As durable as the Stealth proved to be, the footage of this vehicle’s suspension system was even more impressive. Enjoy!

Spencer Suderman Attempts to Break Guinness Book Record

Drift Innovation HD170 Stealth to capture Inverted Flat Spin Record set by aerobatic pilot, Spencer Suderman.

Boyne City, Mich., (March 1, 2011) – MyPOV360.com, an online retailer of the hottest wearable action cameras and accessories on the market, teams up with Spencer Suderman for his planned attempt to break the current Guinness World Record of 78 turn spins in one flying session. The historical attempt is set for March 10 at the El Centro Naval Air Facility, two days before Air Facility’s Annual Air Show on March 12.

MyPOV360.com provided Suderman with the recently launched Drift HD170 Stealth, to capture his recording-breaking attempt. The new and easy-to-use Stealth features everything a video-enthusiast is looking for: high definition video quality, LCD screen, wireless remote control, 170 rotating lens, and slow motion technology with 60 frames per second.

During Suderman’s test flights, in preparation to break the record, he used the new Stealth unit to film him and the aircraft’s canopy in order for the judges to review the number of spins after he lands.

Suderman, a natural at aviation aerobatics, dazzles the skies at air shows across the country, all year long. He is also a race pilot and one of the founders of the Aerobatic Racing Challenge Series(ARCS). Drift Innovation Cameras has been Suderman’s choice for point of view cameras since his partnership with MyPOV360.com began in Sept. 2010.

“Aerobatic flying is a privilege that I am lucky to enjoy,” said Suderman. “Not everyone can be in the cockpit with me but the Drift HD170 cameras allow me to share the experience with the world in a way that has never before been possible.”

How to Shoot Slow Mo Footage with the Drift HD170 Stealth

Ever wondered how the pros get slow motion point of view clips in their videos? Well sit back and we’ll get you the beta.

1) You need a video camera that has the option of shooting in 60 frames per second (fps). The Drift HD170 Stealth offers this option in 720p. If you were shooting 60fps in 1080p, the file sizes would be too big for most computers to handle.
2) Using the LCD screen, select 60fps for filming any footage you are thinking of editing in slow mo.
3) Upload footage to the video editor on your computer.
4) Your video editor will allow you to slow the motion on any chosen clip. A clip shot in 60fps can be slowed down up to 25% without looking choppy.
